GENERAL INFORMATION

The second International Workshop on Group Theory and Algebraic Combinatorics is to be held in Beijing and Kunming, China, from June 12 to June 21, 2008. This workshop will focus on, but not limited to, the applications of group theory in the study of symmetrical graphs, geometries and designs, and applications of combinatorics and geometry in the study of groups, especially permutation groups. It aims to bring group theorists and algebraic combinatorists together to present current research and to discuss important research problems in these areas.

The workshop consists of two sessions. The first session will be hosted by Peking University and the second one by Yunnan University. Both sessions consist of presentations and discussions on mathematics and social events as well.
