Research Topics

The Chinese-SALSA team focuses its research on the development of algorithms and software tools for solving algebraic systems by exact (or at least certified) computation, with ultimate goal towards industrial applications. Currently, the team members are working jointly on the following fundamental topics:

• Basic tools to study polynomial ideals and algebraic varieties (with complex or real coefficients)
• Algorithms based on A to study algebraic and semi-algebraic real sets
• Implementation of A and B
• Applications
