dynamics of the nonlinear Schroedinger equation are presented. Applications in collapse and explosion of Bose-Einstein condensates, transport of ultrocold atoms in optical lattices, quantized vortics in superfluididty and wave interaction in plasma physics are report. Finally, some conclusions are drawn.
