Huazhong Tang received his Bachelor's Degree
from the Suzhou University in 1990,
and both his Master's, and Ph.D. Degrees (in 1993, and 1996) from the
Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
From July 1996 to August 2001 he held a two-year postdoctor position
(1996.7-1998.6) and a research position
(1998.7-2001.8) at Laboratory of Scientific and
Engineering Computing,
Institute of Computational Mathematics and Scientific &
Engineering Computing (ICMSEC) of Chinese Academy of Science, during which time
he took leaves to spend 12 months (in 1999) at HKUST, and
8 months (in 2001) at HKBU. He is now a professor with the
School of Mathematical Sciences
at Peking University.
His research interests focus on the mathematical aspects of
Scientific and Engineering Computing and Computational Fluid Dynamics, as well as applications.
